Only what an order needs: the company name and country you type, the entity you confirm, your order record and report, and payment facts that are public on the Base blockchain anyway (transaction hash and payer wallet address). Your searchable order record (the page your private link shows) expires automatically 7 days after creation, then is deleted (download the report PDF to keep a copy). Access to a report works by holding its private link: anyone with the link can view it until it expires. Payment records persist longer: the settlement facts are public on the blockchain permanently, and the service keeps internal payment records (payer wallet address, transaction hash) for accounting and fraud protection.
No tracking cookies, no accounts, no third-party tracking or analytics scripts, no fingerprinting, no sale or sharing of your inputs with anyone except the infrastructure that runs the service: Cloudflare (hosting, standard edge logs), Coinbase Developer Platform (payment settlement), and Proton (support mailbox). We do not store your IP address ourselves, except in short-lived abuse-prevention counters (deleted within about an hour). One strictly functional first-party cookie prevents duplicate orders; it is not used for analytics.
We keep simple counters: page views, order-funnel steps, button clicks, whether a page was left, whether a real browser ran our small first-party script, the referral slug you arrived with (if any), which country was searched when no match was found (the company name is never recorded), and coarse visit attributes: the visitor's country (from Cloudflare, two letters), browser family, operating system and device class (desktop, mobile or tablet), the main language of the browser, the referring site if it is on a short list of well-known sites (otherwise "other"), and a coarse visitor type (browser, script or bot). The raw user-agent string, full referrer address and IP address are never stored, and none of these values are linked to a person, an order or a cookie. No new cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party analytics. Counts are numbers, not profiles.
USDC payments settle on a public blockchain. The transaction hash and wallet addresses on your order link are permanently public there; we cannot delete or change that.
Lookthrough is an independent service. Privacy questions: lookthroughsupport@proton.me. We minimize by design: we collect almost nothing about you, your order page expires after 7 days (payment records persist as described above), and we run no tracking. Because order data expires on its own, there is usually nothing left to erase on request.
